Bio

Gili is an Associate Professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering at Tel Aviv University. She is the Vice Dean for Resource Development at the Faculty of Engineering, and the Director of the Marian Gertner Institute for Medical Nanosystems at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Bisker is a Co-Founder and the Vice President of the Israel Society for Chemical and Biological Sensing (ISCBS), a board member in the Division of Physics in Life Sciences (DPL) of the European Physical Society (EPS), and a board member in the Israeli Society of Microscopy (ISM).

Previously, Gili worked as a Research Scientist at the MIT Physics of Living Systems group and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the MIT Chemical Engineering Department.

Gili received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, as a graduate of the Technion Excellence Program. She completed her Master’s degree in Physics and her PhD degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, both at the Technion.
